PISA-PIAAC Results

[17.06.2014]

Denmark is the first country in the world to examine how 15-16-year-old-students, who were tested in PISA 2000, perform 12 years later in the PIAAC study.

The Danish PISA-PIAAC report is the result of a longitudinal study based on the first PISA-study conducted in year 2000, in which 15-16-year-old students were tested in, among others, their literacy skills.

In this study the researchers have identified 1,881 young people who participated in PISA 2000 and tested them as part of the PIAAC study in 2011-2012. In 2011-2012 the test persons were 27 years old.

PISA-PIAAC examines, among other things, the importance of factors such as education, socio-economical background and employment for the individual student’s course of life and literacy skills.

The Danish PISA-PIAAC report will be published on the 19th of June 2014 at 9 am.

An English summary of the Danish report will be published on the 26th of June on this website.

Furthermore, an English working-paper on the PISA-PIAAC results will be published in the autumn of 2014 on this website.
